So how can we do this without knocking down a few walls? Well for a start open those curtains at sunrise and do not close them until sunset. Remember the natural rhythm that we are naturally attuned with.
Clean the windows at least once a week both inside and out. Open the windows when ever you can and let fresh air blow as free as a prairie. Also why use artificial air fresheners when you can open the wind to the real thing!
If you consider our caveman forefathers; after finding a cave, the next need we would strive for is a fire! Now if you do not have a fireplace because you live in a 15th floor apartment; you can still simulate a focal fireplace with modern technology. Personally, when I am alone in the lounge; I turn on our faux fire instead of the television. Watching a flickering flame relaxes me every time without fail. For relaxing off the ‘relaxometer’; put on some calming classics and pour a warming whisky too!
