So… love is all you really need to relax and I hope are all relaxing with a partner right now. Yet, here I cannot even attempt to cover such a huge and lifelong subject. However, I can discuss personal experiences and give my own personal opinions and ideas. So hopefully, even if just once; I can help some merry old soul to stay relaxed and happy with the one they love.

“Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time
It’s easy All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need.”
– John Lennon and Paul McCartney

Personal ideas for relaxing with a partner:

  • Communicate! Talk when you are happy and sad! Apart, ring, text, Whatsapp, email, write an old fashioned love letter! However you do it; keep in touch and on the same wavelength. I cannot empathisise this too much. If you are communicating well; you will always be relaxed because you know exactly what is on the mind of your nearest and dearest.
  • If your partner is going through a tough time make damn sure they can talk openly with you. If whatever reason they stop talking to you, they will stop trusting you and the rot will start to set in. If your partner is struggling, upset, moody; don’t criticise them, cheer them up, hug them and tell them it will all be okay. This stuff may sound obvious yet at a critical time; it is something we can all forget.
  • If you do not have a common interest, a hobby or sport; then find one! Make a point of going for a walk together every weekend, go to dancing or yoga lessons together, share a crossword or Sudoku, cook the dinner as a team!

  • Growing flowers to relax

    29th August 2021 by

Letting nature back in Most of us have gardens, balconies, paths and driveways; which can be filled too easily with concrete or paving slabs that are not natural and relaxing to the eye. Gathering a few flower pots and filling them with colourful flowers can brighten up seemingly drab and boring places in our homes.… Read more
