If this is communication
I disconnect
I’ve seen you, I know you, but I don’t know
How to connect
So I disconnect
– Nina Persson

So communication is always at the heart of any problem; in any area of your life. Yet where it matters most; is with the one you love! I do not mean to preach to you as if I am Eros or Cupid; I would just like to share some tips to help you relax. Losing a girl I really loved and cared for through my inability to communicate has hit me hard. Therefore, if I can just help stop two more lovers falling apart; then this website has achieved its goal!

Therefore, in the order in which I add my thoughts; I hope I can help:

Talk! Talk everyday, if you are apart pick up the phone and talk even if you can think of nothing to say. Turn off the TV and put down that phone. Everyday, make the effort to talk.

Agree a time to talk if you both have hectic lives. Yes, talking comes naturally when you are in new love; you cannot get enough! Yet to go the distance, to have a lifelong love; you must make the effort to talk even when you do not feel like it!

If you have reason to disagree; remember the breathing techniques and consider the importance of what you are arguing about. Try to see the bigger picture; do not argue simply to protect your pride. A relationship is not a race or a joust; you are on the same side!

Speaking as a man; I have found humour so important to a relationship. Everyday, when I was with a good lady; I would be looking and thinking of any jokes or humorous situations to keep her smiling and our conversations fresh.

  • Growing flowers to relax

Letting nature back in Most of us have gardens, balconies, paths and driveways; which can be filled too easily with concrete or paving slabs that are not natural and relaxing to the eye. Gathering a few flower pots and filling them with colourful flowers can brighten up seemingly drab and boring places in our homes.… Read more
